After over ten years of looking after mums and babies, and especially since I had my own baby, I recognised a need for a community midwife in Hong Kong who could provide support to women in conjunction with their usual antenatal care provider, ensuring they always had a friendly face to turn to for trustworthy information and advice. The Island Midwife was born on Lamma Island, and aims to bring that community service model across the whole of Hong Kong.

At the heart of my practice are three key values: professionalism, personalisation, and compassion.

I believe in providing care that meets the unique needs of each family. Women have better experiences and outcomes when they are supported by a familiar care team, when they feel listened to, and when they feel connected to their community. That’s why my goal is to be your personal midwife, helping you feel safe and empowered every step of the way.
